Masterkey Pro S là phiên bản TKL (ten-key-less) của MasterKey Pro. Như những bàn phím TKL khác, nó có form nhỏ gọn giúp thu hẹp khoảng cách với chuột. Chiếc Masterkey Pro S sử dụng switch Cherry MX Brown, cho cảm giác chắc chắn và nhanh nhạy.

Những sản phẩm bán ra chính thức không chỉ giới hạn ở hai loại switch trên, sẽ có đủ các tùy chọn MX Brown, Red và Blue cho người dùng. Nếu bạn chưa hiểu lắm về sự khác nhau giữa các kiểu switch, hãy tham khảo trước kỹ càng.

 

Các phím được gắn hơi sâu xuống mặt chassis nhưng vẫn đủ khoảng trống để LED có thể tỏa sáng. Các chế độ sáng được điều khiển bởi một chíp ARM Cortex-M3 nên không cần phải có phần mềm riêng. Tổ hợp phím Fn+F4 sẽ chuyển đổi qua lại giữa 4 chế độ sáng: dạng sóng, chạy vòng, hiệu ứng thở, và gợn sóng. Ngoài ra còn một chế độ nữa cho phép bạn chơi “rắn săn mồi” ngay trên bàn phím.

Nhấn tổ hợp Fn với F1, F2, F3 sẽ thay đổi mức độ màu đỏ, xanh lá, xanh dương trên toàn bộ đèn nền. Trong trường hợp muốn tắt toàn bộ LED, hãy nhấn Fn + Escape. Các macro được thực hiện và lưu trữ trực tiếp trên phần cứng. Khi nhấn Fn+F11, chế độ ghi macro sẽ được bật. Ở chế độ này, nhấn một phím để chọn nó. Người dùng sau đó sẽ có thể ghi macro và chọn kiểu chạy tùy ý (chạy 1 lần, chạy tới khi phím được nhấn lại, chạy khi phím vẫn đang được giữ). Các chế độ này được thiết lập bằng cách sử dụng nút Print Screen, Scroll Lock và Pause.

Các tổ hợp Fn+ F5 đến F8 sẽ điều chỉnh tốc độ lặp, Fn+F9 khóa phím Windows khi chơi game. Insert, Home, Page Up và Page Down, Delete, End cũng được sử dụng như bộ điều khiển media khi nhấn cùng với Fn.
